A Subject Access Request (SAR) is the Right of Access allowing an individual to obtain records to their personal information, held by an organisation. GDPR, which became applicable in May 2018, provides individuals with the right of access to information..

PROCEDURES ON HOW TO REQUEST A SAR (Subject Access Request)

  • The form can be downloaded by Alpha transfers Website or at any branch.
  • Must be delivered in Personal with a valid POI (Proof of ID)
  • The customer service will make the request and send to the designated Officer that will make the decision whether or not the request can be processed.
  • The Upon receipt of a SAR the Company shall have a maximum period of 30 days within which to respond.
  • Must inform the customer that all attempts to access their data protection will be also held at their account (whether successful or failed).
  • Must In case of 3 failed attempts, the customer will be contacted by one of our staff to discuss further actions.

 In case of success request and approval, the following information will be provided to the data subject:

  • Whether or not the Company holds any personal data on the data subject;
  • A description of any personal data held on the data subject;

Request for closing the Account

  • Accounts can be closed after 3 years of inactivity by customer requests visiting one of our Branches in personal with a valid POI(Proof of ID).
  • After closure, we will keep your personal data for 5 years as a AML regulations requirements.
